Ansel Adams Publishing Trust sues film purchaser for trademark infringement

Bloomberg News has a story about this trademark infringement case which is currently in the pleading phase.

According to the complaint, the defendant purchased negatives of some of Ansel Adams photographs at a garage sale and then sold copies of them with Ms. Adams' name and likeness. Ms. Adams' name and likeness are protected by a trademark making the suit for trademark infringement.

The case is: The Ansel Adams Publishing Rights Trust v. PRS Media Partners, LLC et al, No. 10-03740.
